In a highly anticipated study which has since been discredited by scientific communities around the world, research analysts reported that the Lunch Ladies were a “passing fad” and compared them to the Tide Pods Challenge.

That was eight years ago.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, a senior official behind the fated peer-review, lamented that that they were “blind” and that they’ve had to “eat crow.”

“Though we performed both single and double-blind studies on the Lunch Ladies, we regretfully admit we were blind. In addition, the fact that they're now invading the skies to screen on American Airlines, has caused us to eat crow. What’s next? Space?”

Planning their trip on American Airlines just so they can watch themselves, we caught up with the duo to get their response.

Seretta: “Never underestimate us. We defy science, right Lou?”

LouAnne: “The world WILL see us, whether they like it or not. Research be damned.”

BOTH: “Thanks American Airlines for screening us! Finally, a captive audience!”

See the Lunch Ladies on American Airlines now through April 30, 2026.
