Reports from the dark web have confirmed that the Lunch Ladies got perms and regret it after the Crimson Screen Horror Film Fest nominated them for Best Short.
Apparently, the Lunch Ladies have been nominated for three awards, Best EFX, Best Actress, and now Best Short. Wanting to impress on the red carpet they decided to give themselves perms but now admit "in retrospect it was a bad decision."
Said Seretta, mulching their lawn with clumps of hair that she's lost from the lethal perm: "With three noms, we needed to up our game - hence curls. Unfortunately, with our meager Lunch Ladies salaries we had to do it at home... and well... in retrospect... it was a bad decision."
LouAnne, still high from ammonia fumes and looking like Phil Spector's little sister, blathered incoherently: "Perms, Elvis, guinea pigs, unicorns, illuminati, Crimson Screen, nomination. Thanks! I'm hungry."
The Lunch Ladies play at the Crimson Screen Horror Film Fest on Saturday, May 26 at 11:45 am in Comedy Shorts Block One.

The fifth annual Crimson Screen Horror Film Fest takes place in Charleston, SC May 25-27 2018. Best of South Carolina named them a top 10 fest in South Carolina in 2017 and they were voted 2nd favorite film festival by readers of Horror Society in 2015!
