The dark web has confirmed that the Lunch Ladies have pulled a fast one and are heading to Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival by cashing in on frequent flier miles.
Apparently, Strasbourg thought they were safe from the Lunch Ladies simply because the women had burned through 30 plus years of savings traveling around the world plaguing festivals. Programmers were certain the ladies could not afford another trip and had already begun celebrating when they realized their horrible miscalculation:
"The Lunch Ladies in Strasbourg? No... it cannot be... no! Merde! Mon dieu! Damn you AirFrance and your mileage program! We apologize to French people everywhere! Mon dieu!"
The Lunch Ladies, already packed, wearing berets and waving the French flag responded:
"First class all the way! Yayyyy Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival!"
The Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival is a major French platform for fantastic cinema, and one of Europe’s most comprehensive genre events. The Festival is an affiliated member of the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation (EFFFF).
The Lunch Ladies screen on Saturday, September 15 at 4pm, Wednesday, September 19 at 6pm and Thursday, September 20 at 10pm at Le Star Saint-Exupéry.
